Anonymous, 22 Nov 2017Lol people would expect at least Google to do OTA's properl... moreJust to let you know, the software updates are being handled by Xiaomi and not Google in case of Mi A1. So, I guess, bug fixes etc. are being done by Xiaomi, and the ROM is so big inspite of being not MIUI.

Got update almost 1GB. I can`t find any difference in functionality or battery life. Waiting for Oreo ...

Very appropriate to mention this. Although A1 users can be quite content they actually receive monthly updates, the manner of lackluster changelogs is really upsetting.
The fact we don't have Oreo yet is disappointing but it's alright if they deliver a stable build by december. I'm already tensed up when thinking about whether they keep their promise regarding Android P.

After upgrading to latest android security update my mi A1 home button does not work as intended. When on second screen, tapping home button does not bring up home screen.

There needs to be a fix for audio quality on videos. Hope this is in the update.

Lol people would expect at least Google to do OTA's properly and selectively instead it's bad as with MiUI. Even the smaller one is actually to big (bigger than whole AOSP or Linuage) & the other one with all the crap in is just a little smaller than complete MiUI ROM (with all of it's additions). Rather bad from Google.
