Kindly get the budget lower don't compare your price with samsung and htc by overexaggerating the features that is as same as any other brand.

The extra retail price is just for milking idiots in the name of brand with the perception that higher cost means better product. Samsung literally used this as a strategy. For instance, 6-7 years back, most of their flagship phones cost half of the competition. Manufacturing cost wise, its still the same today, but just by severely increasing the price, they started attracting a lot of idiots who thought cost meant quality. They literally built up their brand by increasing cost and doing nothing else. Even after the disaster that that Note7 was, Samsung had the gall to set a price of nearly $1000 on the Note 8 and people bought them like there is no tomorrow. Had this happened to a $300 phone of the same quality and specs are Note 7, people would not have looked at the brand again.
As I said before, OnePlus may not be the best music phone or the best camera phone, but its the best all round smart phone package. If your requirement is music or camera and rather than the smartphone, you can look elsewhere. I don't care for music. For me, the most important things are performance, battery life, a good camera and good audio quality for calling which OnePlus delivers. The only thing I don't like about the OnePlus 5/5T is the small screen size.

Certainly one plus camera is lacking wa... moreEven tho the oneplus 5/5T doesn't have stereo Audio it has one of the best Mono audio around. Still has the headphone jack, has a nice amoked screen.
The Build quality is miles better than HTC and the heat dissipation is awesome, its one of the coolest(cold) phone around. Go say that about HTC, the fiasco it is because of the thermal issues.
Oneplus may not have the best camera software around, it may not have the fancy IP rating like other brands. It may not have an unique design.
But it sure has the fastest fingerprint unlock sensor around, it has the headphone jack, in terms of endurance it's king battery wise and it's king in fast charging.
It has an awesome alluminium build and a beautful screen of Delta -1.5. What more do you expect? HTC phones still have issues, way more issues than oneplus.
I want something reliable and fast, and oneplus does just that...

This is undoubtedly the best phone so far one plus has offered and I am glad that I ditched my samsung galaxy S7 edge with it. For the price of this phone, it has got all the right boxes checked. You have to use this phone to experience the butter smooth performance of Oxygen OS. If you can stretch your budget to around 30K, then nothing beats One Plus 5T in this range.

Also generic audio quality is a miles below what HTC offers with U series....
Price didn't lie baby.... I don't mind shelling few hundred bucks more to get stuff that I rocking on daily basis. But that's just moi.

Google iPhone X Vs OnePlus 5t speedtest and you'll see just how 'poor' this smartphone is made. The crappy animations on Apple slows down their interface way too much even with a killer CPU that on paper is almost twice as fast as the SD835. OnePlus has its faults but they're the true legacy of Nexus ever since Pixels are priced the same as gold bars.

As a smartphone, OnePlus all the core functionality right and features wise has the best all-round package. Better performance, battery life and charging etc. Its lower price is just a bonus. I would not say that OnePlus should cost as much as Note 8 or iPhone X do now, but either of those phones are worth a cent more than this phone.

Similar or better performance in all non-gaming apps, significantly better multi-tasking, substantially better battery life and fastest charging and still costs half of all other flagships.

If you don't have the marketing power to compete with Samsung, Apple your best bet is to undercut them .
Small profit/unit with big sales >> big profit/unit with low sales . It's basic economy .
