I do think Sony are underrated.

In my country(Greece) Sony released the XZ1 for the price of 400€ as a black friday deal.Pretty good deal.

Highly recommend their phones.

All the brainwashed by reviewers "bezel" screamers have never had a Sony Xperia phone. Much more a flagship. Anyone who used a Sony that wasn't defective (amazon Chinese vendors etc) will never change brand. Written on my 4 year old 4,5 SOT Xperia Z (2012)

It is suggested to be the best smartphone just if Sony worked a little bit on the bezels.

Sony needs to revamp its design team and also need to make their cameras more capable against the current tide of competition. Sony doesn't necessarily need to jump on the 18:9 Ratio bandwagon but trim down the forehead and chin bezels enough to make their phones appear attractive and bezeless.
