Anything is better than Samsungs "beside the camera design". Why does they have such bad design decisions? - first the dual curves and now the fingerprint sensor.

Its useless without 3D mapping technology like iphone X I say the best way to secure your phone is iris scanner more manufacturers should use it, its secure and fast though not as fast as fingerprint

Apple is the trend setter in the industry, whether you accept it or deny it. Why before the iPhone X, you didn't see any other company promoting facial recognition as an unlocking method. It's not just useless without the TrueDepth sensor but also inconvenient. Fingerprint on front mounted is most convenient way to unlock your phone. Just because of useless tall devices (18:9 Ratio) manufacturers are forced to relocate the fingerprint sensor to the back, which although convenient isn't as good as front mounted fingerprint sensors.

One more unsecure thing by OnePlus. Without depth sensor it's useless thing, we've seen already this on Samsung phones. But OnePlus copying not just design - they pretend to have the same gimmicks as iPhones do.
