agilan_ezio, 28 Nov 2017Actually Mediatek is from Taiwan...and Shek O is in Hong Kong, whilst Lhasa is in Tibet. Just don't mention these to Mainland Chinese people, because, as far as they are concerned all of these places are a part of the People's Republic of China.

O S, 27 Nov 2017When will they make ARMv8 Cortex35 based SoCARM V8 is an overkill & absolutely not needed for both embedded and IoT. What I want to see are new ARM Cortex M one's.

It's embedded cortex M coupled with various com area's for interconnecting. Think of it more as the smart tag for clothes and cetera. As it will be dirty cheap I expect it will be very successful for MTK.

first day the smartwatch will have a 1 hour delay. First year the smartwatch estimates 200 days have passed. Just shows how mediocre mediatek chipsets are.
My 2nd smartphone had a mediatek build in and christ it was a pain. Ever since i've have been on qualcomm snapdragons flagship sockets since the Nexus 5, gone with a Nexus 6P and now a Oneplus 5 and recently purchased a oneplus 5T. So yeah, once you go full horse power you don't want anything more about other sockets

As we know Mediatek, fitness trackers using this will lag while showing the time or the steps just 20 seconds after you ordered it to do so
