nokia is not loud,its only treble that all you hear,thin sound like piercing your earhole,even if you activate bass boost, its only equivalent of walkmans treble..
while W phones megabass can destroy a midrange speaker,!due to its vibrati0ns,and thats the pure quality!
Note :these are the only units (w900,k750,w800,w810) that has the 100% pure megabass..
believe me,i had this W phones,and some old and new X phones!
I really did try to compare them..
But..
Inspite of its loudness,,Megabass rules.

It would have been better if they have focused in one particular part of japan instead of pulling everything out completely. so that somehow they will still have revenue.

i owned few models of nokia and se,,and i observe and noticed that se's battery that lasts ,and powerful bass quality than nokia,even in image quality,,only n8 has guts when it comes to camera but in general all models of nokia's camera really s*cks! green effect and over colored (over exposed),overblack for slight shadows and over white for a liitle ray of sun,that really make sick! ..sound quality is thin like a can ,it irritates ears,and sadly nokia's os are in deep sh*t now..

Japanese mobile consumers are very focused on design, something that Nokia phones seriously lack.
It's definitely a smart, or at least a rational, move for Nokia. It's not like they planned on making phones with a decent design any time soon. Not to mention, Nokia phones aren't fit to compete with the typical WVGA resolution clamshell phones that are popular in Japan nor with the iPhone/Android devices that are soon to supercede them.

Don't you know that it is not reasonable for any company to stay in Japan anymore. It used to be a cheap country to make your company sucsess. But now it's getting to be as Expensive to make producks in Japan as in anywhere else. So Nokia is moving to China and building new faxtories to places were it is much cheaper to make phones. it's nothing about the quality of the phones.
