abubasim, 28 Nov 2017I know we can't post pics here but this sums it up: https:... moreI was a W10M user until a couple of months ago - in fact I still have my Lumia 950XL powered on so I can play around with it - and I had a hard choice to make when choosing between iOS and Android. I love WP and I totally disliked Android after using it for more than 1 year, and I was not too sure about iOS either.

I could choose between any phone that was on the market this autumn and finally decided to get the iPhone 7. No big displays, not the latest model, just an iPhone 7 to see how it compares to WP and Android phones.
And oh boy, I am completely addicted to its stability and zero lag and everything just working, all under a nicely polished UI. You can tell iOS was under QA testing for at least 10x more than any Android version out there and you can see the attention to detail on so many little things that you never thought they needed to be polished.
With all the customization options and custom launchers, icon packs and such, you still can't achieve the same effect on Android, no matter how much you try. There will always be misaligned fonts, a multitude of design styles displayed all at once, basically you will always feel the need to move something, change something, find the next 'best' icon pack or launcher, but in the end nothing will fully satisfy you and you will just want that smoothness that you see on iOS devices. And the unified design language across all areas of the UI. And all kinds of small things that help you achieve your tasks, that you did not even know are present in a smartphone.

So if you liked WP, then it's likely that you will like iOS more than you would like Android after a few months of usage.

I know we can't post pics here but this sums it up:

(Having said that, I'm a W10M user and will soon gladly trade up to iOS - with warts and all.)

                      Apple response:
"You are holding the phone the wrong way".
                      Apple response (again):

Agreed on autocorrect, just turn it off. I have to use two languages (and many words that aren't there, such as metal band names) and sometimes it helps, but most of the time I would have to fix something that autocorrect guessed instead of me.

Vegetaholic, 28 Nov 2017Come on, most native English speakers are just illiterate, ... moreYes. No auto-correction also means I could type much faster and more accurate. Any misspelled words that I will type will only prove that I am a human that makes mistakes at times. But even then, sometimes this feature makes my grammar wrong. It's like it will correct something it doesn't know, like a unique name or whatever.

Weird how we have 2 iPhone 7 handsets in the house on the newest version of ios 11 yet neither have any of these bugs mentioned.

Come on, most native English speakers are just illiterate, just turn off your auto correct and write like a pro. People ignorance and illiteracy is the main issue her not Apple

All of these corrections usdless at least for 3 months until my own dictionary will filled right. And I recommend to sync user words in settings. Very useful if you will reinstall app or buy another phone.

Why use it when you get the prediction on top of the keyboard (i use SwiftKey)

I.T really funny that such big company can't spend time and resources to fix such simple bug.

I.S like car company didnt test doors in their cars and they open windows every time when you close the door...

Just turn that damn auto correction thing off!
I use no auto correction when typing this message, because I don't want my phone to dictate me on what should I say. Mispelled words are far more ideal than aggressive word correction that oftentimes actually replaces a word with an incorrect one.
