My secondary phone is from 2012. And no phone has better camera until nowadays, if we are talking about picture quality, not about useless gimmicks like bokeh etc. Nokia 808 ftw.
(Actually i like Symbian Belle a lot more than Android. Plus i don't feed Google.)

Mr, 28 Nov 2017And why do they have this comfort zone? Because most of com... moreThey aren't making much profits other than these new cheap Chinese brands, Samsung, Apple and MAYBE LG and Sony. The rest just truggles to bring one more on the overflown market and it's nothing worth mentioning.
Saying that "the market demands" is also forced, there isn't anything ELSE on the market. It's just huge screens on always slimmer slabs being forced down your throat. If for example your phone breaks or gets TOO outdated to even run the apps you need (remember about the updates), you either have to go with:
1 - Keep going without phone.
2 - Get some old device that suits your tastes, but too outdated, see above the implications (+you lose a chance at a better camera and such)
3 - Give in to the stupid trends and get something - likely even more expensive than what you had, even if same class of phone - shoved down your throat because there's no option that does suit you.
It's not even a market demand when they simply force the only options to be what they are now. You either go really old-school (and for some stuff in specific that might NOT be a possibility), or put up with this stupid trend thing.
One manufacturer keeps playing catch-up with the other, advertisement plays a huge role (don't even try to deny that, it's damn obvious), all converge to the same upping up the previous concurrence numbers.
If you wanna try to deny that manufacturers are just shoving down our throats stuff that they only battle with numbers, then I would love an actual explanation on how suddenly 6" is a normal size display, pocketable and easy to use with one hand (or why suddenly this isn't important), what's the point of 2K or heck 4K displays on a phone, what's the point of a 5mm thick phone?
And now: if I'm not into that dumb trend, what options do I have as a consumer?

Both screens should be on the inside. One could be a vanity mirror for those self-obsessed ladies, or to be used for video calls. The other screen for the more important stuff.

looks cheap and outdated to me... I really dont understand the need as well. If it had a 4+ inch screen when closed and a super ultra wide screen when flipped open, then that would be interesting....
