    SKR..., 28 Nov 2017Asus doesn't have a future in smartphone at all! Look at th... moreno actually, it is narrower the 18X9 is a ratio so the screen is longer not wider so it is actually easier to hold .All manufacturers are changing over to this form factor.
    You can see that the 5.7 inches is measured from one corner to the other diagonally so if it is 5.7inches at an 18X9 ratio it has to be taller not wider, common sense really.

      Actually the phone has two screens a 1440X720 and the 2160X1080.
      The 2160 sports 3GB ram and the 1440 has 4GB ram

            My Xiaomi Redmi Note 4x takes 2.30min to charge from 0-100 And it's 4100mah Li-Po battery, your is it that a 4130Mah battery takes 3hrs?

              Asus doesn't have a future in smartphone at all! Look at this shitty phone having the dumbest idea. The basic question is why are smartphones shifting to 18:9 aspect ratio? That's because a phone having small top and bottom bezel with 16:9 aspect ratio would look more squarish rather than a rectangle and we are used to a rectangular form factor for a long time now. Making the screen 18:9 recovers the rectangular form factor again.
              But here Asus has kept those huge bezels and yet 18:9 would make the phone extremely long, rather uncomfortable!

                The point of 18:9 was to use the space formely used as a dumb bezel (doing nothing) as screen. Stretching the screen, thus, meant keeping the total dimensions of the devices (pretty much) same as before.

                Some companies don't get it though. They use 18:9 *with* giant chins and hats (given the circumstances), creating some unseemly, alien phones in the process. If you can't minimize the bezel ... just don't bother esse, keep it at 16:9 and you'd be alright.

                All you're managing now is retaining the same width yet making the phone *eeeven* more unwidly than before... ridiculous. Just give up already.
