Google testing tech aimed at detecting people secretly looking at your phone's screen

30 November 2017
The technology uses the phone's front camera in combination with eye-detection to alert you when more than one person is looking at the screen.

So Google is working on technology to:

        - keep the microphone turned on at all times
        - keep the camera turned on at all times

in such a way that it does not drain too much battery, in order to be able to keep these on 24/7.
All this in order to have their AI analyse the things you talk about, track and analyse your face, basically to know everything about you and the people around you. Your phone is not only listening and watching you, it will listen and see everyone around you.

Welcome to the age of no privacy!!

And Google finds ways to make people embrace these things, by advertising everything as "music identifier at all times" and "stop people looking at your phone's screen".

They just needed to find an appealing reason to the masses of people, in order to develop and implement these monitoring technologies that will stay on even after you disable them in the settings. They will always work in the background, but you just won't be notified about 'that song that's playing' or 'someone looking at your screen'.

I usually share my screen in public transport when watching Porno, this feature will just distract viewers :(

rtvs, 30 Nov 2017google want to keep all our information, Location, messages... moreParanoid much. Sure, Google have enough employees and enough time to read billions of users messages, email, location, contacts and galleries. They live and get paid to stalk you everyday 24/7. It is really fun working at Google. "Omg, is that your funny pictures I see. Lets us all in Google laugh at your pics because we have so much time and no other work to do. Hahahahahaha!!! "

As if Google don't know where to put the money in now..

benibeni, 30 Nov 2017battery drain?!Of course not. Nothing that Google does behind the scenes in Android is a battery waste, they strictly use power of magic glitters. All those data packages that GPS exchanges between servers and device every 5 minutes don't have an impact on your battery (and even your data). Google Assistant that's always listening to help you identify the song in the background you don't care about (of course Google doesn't transcribe your in person conversations God forbid) also doesn't use any battery just like this camera always on feature will not use none of your battery. And of course camera always on feature is for your convenience only, it's not there to invade your privacy. Google just doesn't do that, that's why they have a company code of Do No Evil to remind them that every 5 minutes just when fresh new set of location, web browsing, call history and texting history data arrive on their servers via Google Play Services.

google want to keep all our information, Location, messages, contacts, camera. and who knows what else... Same like stupid apps/games want permission to everything. I never will understand why simple logic games want permission to microphone, gallery and so on...and permission to delete photos, contacts etc. Yesterday I tried to install game and it wanted 4 permissions I just denied 3 of them and game doesn't switch on so next thing I did just deleted it. Big "f*** you"to Play store.

That's why I don't want a larger display. My privacy is mine!

For that the phone camera has to be wider than the display's viewing angle.

And of course, that data will be sent to Google. I mean, like, how can Google remotely live without our personal data?
