Just got our Demo 3D in store today (Carphone).......To be honest....its not all that great, dont get me wrong the 1.2 duel core is amazingly quick and the 3g speeds are awsome but the 3D just seems to be blurry, maybe my eyes dont adjust well to it but there are some videos, if shot correctly makes for some AMAZING viewing but over all.... i think its a FAD that will last a few months and not treally catch on. Great for TV's but phones..hmmmm. Love the idea, Love the tech, love the 3D but it only seems to have the desired effect 40% of the time.
I like the idea of 3D to be a novelty at the cinema once or twice a year, not for every day.
I think the concept is there but i think they need to fine-tune it.
Let me know what you think if any of you have a chance to play on one :)

You can get this handset for £31 a month at all Tesco Phone Shops. I'm popping into the Hull store to get mine today. I think the deal is 300mins, Unlimited texts and 500MB data on Vodafone network.
GSMarena, if your going to do a story on price and availability please give the people the best deal going. Thanks Tesco!!!

Anonymous, 05 Jul 2011the BIGGEST PROBLEM of 3D devices, no matter what, no matte... more1. This is for a mobile phone, generally looked at by one user.
2. In certain cases, what you said is a plus point, as it increases privacy.

Here in France it's been available from a single retailer for about a week,
http://www.meilleurmobile.com/mobiles/telephone-LG-Optimus-3D_2546.do
However they just announced it as 'in stock' today.
Other than that, providers are gearing up. One of them gives it at ONE EURO. on a contract - that is, after a double rebate, both from LG and the operator.
As for the viewing angles, it's a weakness that could be turned into a strength... the other day I was shooting pictures at a rock festival and two girls cheerfully struck a pause then carried on... now imagine you can show them themselves IN 3D RIGHT THEN AND THERE but alas, need to stand so close to them...
*nudge nudge*

Had our demo one turn up today was out the box and set up in less then a min of it arriving a couple of cool features is you can play around with the 3d depth of field after you have taken pic and also if you take a pic in 2d pressing the 3d button from the menu in gallery make the image full 3d, only draw back is no were to really transfer and watch your 3d move's pic unless you have 3d tv/pc screen, or you want to upload them to the internet. Great phone would not be disapointed to own one at all, dual core works great and dual memory should make it fantastic to use shame it only come with lg's one year warrenty. Insurance is a no brainer !!!!

the BIGGEST PROBLEM of 3D devices, no matter what, no matter if it is with glasses or not, or if it is mobile or tv, IS THAT ONLY ONE PERSON CAN WATCH. ONLY ONE!!! after 15-20 degrees deviation from the perpendicular direction, 3d effect is fading or even become very annoying. for single people, for those who have no family or no friends to watch together a movie or a football game, the 3d is perfect. but how many people are this way??

i've test it. useless. the eyes are burning after 3 minutes of 3d experience, the 3d image is darken and full of hundred of fine horizontal lines like an old tv, like a curtain is over lcd and only one person wich perfect perpendicular eye position can see correct 3d. useless. useless. 2d is more efficient and in 2d mode the image is superb at hd movies. but go for samsung galaxy s2 or sony-ericsson xperia arc with no regrets.
