5A is exactly the same as 4A, well, actually....
... 5A = 4A - (120 mAh battery) + (better aperture on front camera - 5A - f/2.0 vs 4A - f/2.2) + (5A has a dedicated Memory card slot, unlike the 4A which uses the SIM2 slot.)
If those two +'s make sense to anyone, then 5A is a good buy. However, if you already have 4A, skip 5A and wait for 6A.

So it's your patriotic duty ... moreAt least Xiaomi has been assembling phones in India and now with this model they have shifted more operations to India as well. So if not Xiaomi then what other alternative? May be carbon and micromax- they import phones from china, put their stamp on it and sell at profit. No manufacturing or assembling operations in India. It's only Lava company which also assembles phones in India. I do not think that you would be able to understand the contribution of xiaomi in digital evolution of India. In my opinion only Oppo and Vivo are the most pathetic chinese brands which really suck money out of India without even providing value for money by targeting selfie obsessed teens.

Best thing about Xiaomi is the Value for money and superior build quality at a reasonable price. This phone is the Ace up Sleeve of Xiaomi and frankly for a budget buyer in India, this is the only game in town. I guess all other Phone purveyors in India, like Samsung, Lava, Micromax, et.al. have been killed, by this clever move by Xiaomi. Now Xiaomi just have to come up with sufficient production, for people who will be screaming for this phone.@INR 4999.
