Not sure what is suprising as I am one of those who find it silly to use QWERTY format, whether touch or physical.
T9 is way easier one handed. It is not the hunt and peck style western people think when they see this keyboard.

Absurd price. 100% more expensive than the best phone with lower specs. There are no buyers for this product unless it is gold plated and crusted with (real) diamonds.

4,2 inch for full hd amoled display. It's enough for the flip phone. But it's a little weird for android phone with keypad, not qwerty keyboard when texting..

for those who don't understand, clam-shell/flip-phone still has market in asia. Samsung are trying to get the pie slice here by offering high-end phone on this model.
Take for example in Japan, for years, some people still prefer flip-phone whether old or young.
Maybe now you can laugh because flip-phone design is outdated, but in the past when you still using your nokia with monochrome display, japanese people already use flip phones with dual colorful lcd display (and some even use vga camera) with capacitive button on external display, got tv antenna, and they can chatting/messaging through the internet when whatsapp, line, fb messenger, bbm doesnt even exist, while you guys still messaging/texting via SMS service
