Hope RIM will better battery for this phone, 1250mAh is outdated now and this would make the phone less competitve.

It's actually scheduled to release in the UK on September 15. The white version is scheduled to release on October 15.

I beleive Blackberry phones will disappear in two or three years. 'iMessage' from Apple is on it's way with ios5. Also the iphone can do a lot more than a Blackberry in terms of function.

I have yet to figure out why someone would consider buying another blackberry? Same design, nothing revolutionary than it's previous models... And it's coming out in sept ? And will probably be priced higher than the iPhone in it's first 4 months. People , Dint waste your money, I left blackberry a year ago and have finally realized that blackberry is way outdated and boring

Hi guys just a quick little information for everyone on here i know alot of people are waiting on the Bold 9900, and amazon dates are very different to what we at Vodafone have. Blackberry are giving the handset to out tech dep at vodafone for software checks at the start of aughust if we are happy with it then Vodafone will start to sell the handset mid aughust if the software need tweaking then the handset will be sent back to blackberry and will release first week of september, vodafone will be the first network to recieve the handset.

I just feel that there is no zest in this new model at all. BB APPs are nothing fantastic and it's definitely not going to turn heads with this model. Perhaps, RIM should start exploring dual SIM support or having a candy bar slider with android APP support. Not sure if the 9900 is going to create noise.

Wow, ten year old hardware and software are still selling. Good job RIM. RIM is like Steven Segal, keep dropping the same B-grade flicks over and over again. And the fans keep buying the nonsense over and over again.

The price is a killer, will have to wait for Curve version maybe. But I am stuck with RIM for sometime, I just love the phone, it would have been awesome to get my hands on this one. Hope the price drops fast.

come on BB...noone wants 9900 or as a matter of fact any other BB phones...the USP- BBM is overtaken by Whatsapp...apart from BBM...blackberry OS offers nothing else:D
