Don't get me wrong I know Google Maps is really good but Apples maps are not bad. They sure do have a lot of work to go through but they are getting there. Lets not forgot for how long Google Maps has been around compared to Apple Maps.

Google map was optimised day one on my essential for the notch.

Thanks but no thanks, the only real fix is if they add the sensors under screen. If they can do so much the better, if not "fixing" it would make the iphone an android clone with the dumb bezel et al ... it's a useless space (center of notfication bar) that Apple found a use of, it looks ugly, but functionally it's offf the charts...

Apple during testing of the iPhone X would have seen the notch, indeed the advert show they were aware, but why sell one phone when you can sell two

Did anyone notice that in most of Apple adverts of iPhone X they always choose screens that dont show those horns that much? (dark background, cropped images).
