I'm having problems complaining to Nokia re the tracker not recording distance while swimming. We have reached stale mate and they are refusing to escalate to a higher decision maker.Does anyone know how I can bypass the initial complaint department?

I purchased the Steel HR because I am a swimmer and Nokia clearly states on their website that it tracks swimming and gives comprehensive data via the app. After I complained that it did not record swimming distance they admitted that was the case however would not assist me with a refund.Their customer service department must be good at table tennis because thats what it feels like after numerous contacts. If your a swimmer keep away.

I was very excited to finally get the Nokia Steel HR, after waiting for several months to order it. I assumed that when Nokia took it over from Withings, and took all that time before re-releasing it, that it would be that much better. Unfortunately, the watch hasn't worked from the start. The setup process is fairly straightforward, but I was never able to scroll between screens the way it is supposed to - the watch just flashed a blank heart rate and the time and date, and the app keeps trying to reinstall the software. I called customer service and they tried doing a remote setup, and when that didn't work bumped me up to a higher level of customer service, who have been virtually non-responsive. Nokia's customer service is only available 9-5 EST on weekdays because apparently their customers don't have their own jobs. After five days and many hours wasted trying to get the situation resolved my watch is still not working, and I am getting nowhere with Customer Service. Buyers beware!

Kangal, 04 Dec 2017Looks weird, thick, and gimmicky. I wouldn't wear it if th... moredon't think of yourself as important as you think you are. No one is EVER going to give you anything for free. especially with that attitude. Not even a $15 US casio.

Sam, 04 Dec 2017So is a rebranded watch. Looks like a watch for aged people... moreSam, Think before you talk, Look before you think. it's 42mm watch it's a standard watch size. You don't need to anything else to see the contents on this watch. If you admit your eye sight is terrible that's fine. But don't put a well known company into shame just because you are ignorant and act like a fool.

What's wrong with people these days? If you don't like it simply don't read this review, and why so much hate?
This watch is actually pretty good, it is more of a fitness tracker + classic watch. And some of you are right, having a watch to tell time is always better than always have to pull out your smartphone ( especially the big one). I got one ( the old version and later on replaced by the new version).
This watch is for people who doesn't want a *smart watch* that do call, play music, read your message etc. You got your phone for that.
And it is not small, it is 42mm watch just like a regular watch. It is pretty elegant fitness tracker watch.

So is a rebranded watch. Looks like a watch for aged people with the lack of a proper display. An aged person usually has worse sight than when young. Do they sell the watch together with a magnifying glass for that tiny screen? With that crystal so good even my cat can scratch it. Anyhow, too few features for 190 euros.

Looks weird, thick, and gimmicky.
I wouldn't wear it if they gave it to me for free, prefer a reliable Casio, or an analogue like Seiko, or a fully digital watch like the Huawei Watch.

Anonymous, 03 Dec 2017What a useless product, watches are a throwback to one mill... moreI found smartwatches amazing product since phones are getting bigger and I prefer them to keep in shoulder bag or backpack instead of puting them in pants pocket. In my case I always have some bag with me. For short conversations or check your messages it's perfect device. Only issue Android is pretty bad still for watches and not many nice, small sized watches.

Very elegant timepiece. And a very elegant solution for those who don't want to wear one of those big dedicated smartwatches, but still like to keep track of their fitness regimen.

What a useless product, watches are a throwback to one million years ago. Only worn by people who think that they're cool looking and they are also the ones to never wear a smartwatch.
A smartwatch is a weird category. A bit like mini tablets, doing many things at once, but all things that nobody wants (being both a jewelery and a computer, but shoddy at both).
