    OnePlus never fails to impress. One of the few companies who actually care about audio quality. Just plain weird the whole industry is removing the headphone jack and NOT promoting better bluetooth audio like AptX...

And all Snapdragon 8xx chips get the support for it in the BT drivers. So... YES, Nogat did not have native support, but the device had it. Yet, even non-QSD had AptX support like the E7420 in the S6 on Lollipop.
