        Hum, that's weird. My Zenfone 2 (admittedly, ZE551ML instead of your ZE550ML) did receive an official upgrade to Marshmallow. Maybe you should check Asus's support website for a direct download link for your device's newest official OS version.

        Of course, right now my device isn't running the official OS anymore. It's running the current weekly of Lineage OS 14.1 (Nougat) and I fully expect that LOS 15 (Oreo) will become a stable release fairly soon.

          This proves nothing.

              TomSeo, 04 Dec 2017I really hate this ZenUI it's so clattered to look at. Jus... moreI respect that, and I actually thought the same at the very start. But because of how good Asus Zenfones perform even with the amount of bloatware, I was actually intrigued on trying one; I have the Zenfone Max now. I actually liked ZenUI real good, even more than Samsung's software. It's highly customizable, and the latest version of it looks very modern and free from bloats. Also just saying, but I highly recommend ZenUI because of its elegancy, functionality, and practicality.

                I really hate this ZenUI it's so clattered to look at.

                      I think the Zenfone 2 series is too old for this update,i have zenfone 2 (ZE550ML) and its hans been 2 years waiting android M,but when i search some article about that update,Zenfone 2 not get M Update
