You can't be from either of korea or japan. as people here aren't like you. At-least I haven'e seen someone in entire college and neighborhood like you. Your attitude is more than false at best. Wherever you are from, come here in Seoul and checkup with a doctor, who might help you. I am studying economy, and I just know how potent the countries I mentioned are. Anybody thinking otherwise, is poor at best.

AnonD-373654, 05 Dec 2017Where is it written that the survey is European provider on... moreI dont know whatever you ranting about. What does couch slouch have to do with this survey? Very interesting how you call people that while you use 100mbps wifi and buy LTE internet. Who exactly the couch slouch that couldnt get enough of data here? Wifi is everywhere nowadays. I can move anywhere I want and still have free wifi. Your country must be so poor. Come to Asia? Lol. So, you just assumed Im not in asia? I can give you one easy clue how terrible internet speed in some developing countries in Asia. Android Go! Why do you think Google keep releasing Go version for many Google apps in those countries? That is laughable. You even mentioned country like India and Indonesia where Google released Android Go and Google Go. Lol. Because they all have slow connection and expensive internet. Here it already shows the inferiority. As for Korea and Japan, Im very well aware and enjoying the internet there. I was only pointing out 'developing countries' if you even read my previous comment correctly.

Lack of broadband infrastructure in most part of India leeds to high usage of mobile data, for most people it is the only access of Internet in India

AnonD-669148, 05 Dec 2017Of course it is less than 30 Euro/month, not 300!1Tb of data over here in Australia would cost... thousands and thousands of dollars a month.
The comments on this news article have opened my eyes to just how expensive data is over here.

Currently I get 3.5Gb per month for $55 AUD (that's a bit over 35 euro).

that is just reasonable you don't need to use a lot of data on a smartphone to enjoy it at it's full potential.

Finland has better deals ( Not as much Cartel stuff you know ) like in Germany , France - UK are more talktime based , actually they are earning profits , if asian markets can do it , so can european markets considering some additional cost the difference cannot be so high. I keep on changing sim based on talktime ( Lebara - O2 - Voda. etc.) , data being 2 gb , 4 gb incl. O2 now giving really interesting offers but at gbp 20 per month , & in asian markets talktime is free ( Specially Jio in India owned by richest Family in Asia ) , outgoing , Incoming no charges!!! & 30GB 4G data 3 months at GBP 4 /- thats GBP 1.25 /- per month or Euro 1.5 /- per month ( German , French , European users please note ) , o2 gives same in GBP 60 /-, i know only europe is mentioned here , but now things are different it is jio which is showing european people how much the carriers charge extra $$$ or Euro or the pound , even with rising cost the difference should not be so much.

In India, most of the users get 1 GB 4G data per day that too at negligible prices.

84 GB 4G data for 84 days costs INR 399 (USD 6.15) including unlimited calling and SMS.

Basically 1 GB per day at $2 a month.

About speeds, it depends on the area a person lives in.
On an average its about 30-40 Mbps.

I had cheapest deal here - 4gb for $40 and they still increased price to 45. Normally people paying around $60 for 4-6gb, for $40 you can get probably just 2gb.
3 companies controlling all market and prices.
