If i go to some pirated sites streaming full movies, the movies open as fast as i click on them. Youtube, no chance. First it has to preload all the ads, then finally it buffers the video. Actually, i have way faster buffer when accessing youtube in chrome than in the app per-say.

i dont want video to be first supported hdr in web browser i wand simple image on web page to be rendered with 12bit per pixel color channel first

The second reason is, even if it would be a non-HDR and a real HDR screen dump you'd still see a massive difference as brightness, contrast and saturation is completely moved on 10-bit video to take full advantage of the wider available spectrum. So, a HDR video viewed on a non-HDR device would in reality look extremely washed out.

This is good news and updates for Chrome, the HDR feature or maybe 4K in the browser is really a new innovation and more surprised it is Android , but is it possible that this will affect Android RAM, browsing data and cell phone batteries? hoping that there is no issue especially Android that has a small RAM under 2 gb and battery under 3.000 mAh, hope after update no issue found.

How is that I can see the difference between the hdr & non- content as shown in the sample image, on my non-hdr screen? If it is actually possible then why do I need an hdr display in the first place? Kind of boggles me! oO

If you connect 2 phones to same wifi, then use those apps to measure speed of connection you will see different values.
OnePlus has metal body, connection will be slower than glass phone.
Same happens to sim signal.
Also op5/op5t dont have 1 gigabit LTE like S8 and XZP

i don't care having HDR on a tiny 6inch screen. What i want is having proper streaming servers, some videos take an eternity to buffer while i'm on 4G for mobile and fibre optic at home using 5Ghz wifi on my oneplus 5T.
Videos should open as quickly as someone clicks on them. Sometimes i can see its buffering at 1mb/s while i'm on gigabit internet...
First improve the servers, then care about HDR...

just optimize data consumption and that would be greater than HDR
