A childish mindset of Apple Inc. for sueing Samsung. Don't be such foolish Apple !! You are the loser after all. Samsung have many countries to support and back it up. Samsung don't need U.S.
Recall the recent sales result of Galaxy S2 itself on South Korea and Asia country. How many billions of sales has been made in just 55 days.
Apple, you're nothing. It would be better if Samsung try to make some faulty part in the upcoming / future iphone.....hahaha :D
Samsung has the largest production in the world. For the worst case, I would suggest Samsung to completely STOP supplying any hardware to the Apple :P
Thanks.

SFAN, 07 Jul 2011The Flip Clock is from HTC. It does not belong to Android. ... moreIn fact, we've already had a Flip-clock mechanism in real life for *decades* at every train station in the Netherlands.
"New and original" hasn't existed since after the first two or three years of the existence of Internet.

Did you even read anything before you started trolling the comment section? The answer to your stupidity is actually right in the second line of the article.

the real problem is not the android who use Microsoft patents, patents that exist in the same android nothing microsoft.
but really just a matter of a contract with microsoft nokia or samsung. "so long as you have a contract with Microsoft in the use of artificial microsoft OS (window-phone), you one should not use any other OS, but you have to pay royalties as a" replacement cost "since you've been using OS other than Microsoft made at the time the contract agreement is not over ".
so instead of google and Android, but the vendors are troubled by their contract with Micosoft. motorola and sony ericsson so eventually no longer want to use OS windowphone, because the same problem. just one question, why HTC and Samsung did not come along the path of sony ericsson and motorola?, ie just say "goodbye windows phone, forever." Microsoft is very evil, u know that??

so i think you love iphone, i don't like iphone because is close platform, you can't send files from it, you can't unlock, you can't jailbrake. why i buy a phone 2 times expensive and you can't used just to be coool. that is why i like android. you unlock 3gs you don't have gps, if i use boot from ipad i don't have battery and more things like that. if you open a nokia phones you will see samsung cpu. nokia is history.

[deleted post]Clearly you are someone who just does not understand how things work. There are so many things wrong with your statement that it is just not even worth the attempt to repair. One thing is for sure though, Android-haters would wish that Android had more fans like you lol.

This is getting ridiculous, there is a hole in the software patent system. Microsoft has been buying thousands of patents to screw with the competition. They didn't create the software and they do not intend to use them in their manufactured products, its an unduly aggressive and opportunistic move by patent trolls. National and international law makers are blind or with their pockets to full to notice this doesn't lead to innovation, but the exact opposite.

"Samsung knew from the start Android brakes Microsofts patents"
So, who is the owner of Android? Samsung?
And HTC, Acer, LG, Motorola, Sony didn't "know this"? Are they using some special Android which doesn't "brake Microsofts patents"?
Are you people thinking before writing something?

uninspired, 07 Jul 2011How about Sony Ericsson? is Microsoft going to sue them as well? How about Sony Ericsson, is Microsoft gonna sue them too ?? Let me see:
Microsoft is doing these license agreements in alphabetical order--
- 1st with DEsire (HTC), and the deal has been announced ($5)
- 2nd with DRoid (Motorola), but Moto then preferred to fight in the court (don't have money)
- currently with Galaxy (Samsung), for $15, but still in bidding
- Sony Ericsson's android lineup is Xperia, so they could relax for a while... oh wait, we still have Iconia (Acer) and Optimus (LG) in the queue!! Take your time SE!

Anonymous, 08 Jul 2011precisely correct, i also observed that american tech compa... morepatents are created to protect intelectual rigths. and patent wars are way back years ago but now companies cant make new ideas that they can own so they have to borrow ideas which are pattented that is why they have to pay for it.and for those who dont want to pay and dont want to acknowledge that they borrow something they'll be sued

Ashura, 07 Jul 2011What patents?Microsoft did not even explain that.Oracle is ... moreits not about linux but about linux based OS.oracle have nothing to do with it because android is with google. its actually just confusing because the article is incomplete.
by the way these companies already know this patent thing from the start that is why the only thing to argue is how much they will be paying to MS.
