Unless it's because Oreo doesn't run well on watches that only have 512mb ram, there is no reason why not update HW1 to Oreo ._. I mean, newer AW watches have 768mb ram but i don't believe ram issues are the reason why older watches don't get it.

mNiosu, 13 Dec 2017+1Huawei sucks on OS update that is why I will no longer buy a Huawei device until such time they change their software support. They have a beautiful devices be it wearables or phone but they literally very poor on software updates.

Google definitely not living up to their expectations of a Apple/Nexus-like supported piece of technological companion.
