Love the Community, 13 Dec 2017Did you know, Nokia managed to program LCD with Always on D... moreLCD always on, requires the backlight to be always on. It's like having the screen on at all times anyway making a massive drain on battery.
This is no solution. For now, always on technology is best adapted to Oled since only a few pixels are lit.

Why LCD? Everything else is great, but the screen kills it. A watch without always on functionality is kinda pointless. And the resolution is somewhat low. Not terrible, but could be better (around 300 ppi would be nice).
I'd gladly pay a bit more if they made an OLED version.

You can install Android apps so yes you can personalize it. I'm only interested in the healthcare and sports side of the watch and it's beautiful.

Lol trolls incoming. Use glasses with xenon flashlights to watch it and a magnifying glass also ...

I'm really disappointed of this review as it says nothing about notifications! Those are a very important aspect of a smartwatch. What notifications does it support out of the box? Can custom notifications be added?

I understand that they want to reduce battery consumption.
But that screen is not acceptable at all!

Well, it's good to save the battery as much as possible, is important.

I don't see it as bad, better than the original amazfit. If the sensors and gps are enough accurate and the water test give good results, I'll buy the sapphire version.
