Google Assistant finally arrives on Android tablets, also expands to phones running Lollipop

It's rolling out now to both older handsets and, for the first time, to tablets, so even more people can ask it for things.

      Assistant icon in app drawer? Didnt it used to work by holding home button and please make it work on kitkat

            unfortunnaly if pepole start using this their battery life will fly way way faster, since voice commands need to work in background! Like Facecrap do...one more app useless to drain that little precious thing.

              I'm running Android 5.0 and I'm not seeing it listed on the Play Store, I could try just downloading and installing the APK, but I doubt that will work.
