I flashed the unofficial leaked rom from villian rom and it gave me a few issues. Firstly i was unable to recieve mms messaging. Secondly, internet browser was buggy, thirdly battery life was getting smashed, alot of forced closes error. could not sync calender and email. so i flashed back to my original optus AUS firmware which is working perfectly for me. I still prefer better battery life but that will come with the 2.3.4 update, other than that i can't complain phone is awesome and meets all my needs. no reason really to have custom rom.

NO BATTERY DRAIN on both my SGS1 & SGS2 official XEF 2.3.3

I recommend everyone to use this ROM. It fixes the AOs bugs than drains the battery. The battery should last longer after installing this ROM. I have seen an overall 50% of battery time increase! Perfect!

Samsung wave and latest wave 2 was build in metal cover with super amoled too.The only explain for plastic is being lite and don't store heat that burn yr leg like metal especially now dual core war.

my friend "Angry with Google" ,google your phone's baseband version ,i think you will be surprised !
had a nexus one with a build from vodafone that didn't update directly from google servers ,and had to wait for it months ,but decided to unlock my bootloader and install a custom or original rom.
