well i guess samsung dont really want to make bada a better os they arent supporting it at all the phone is a little bit nice but it wont spread since samsung isnt supporting bada and i think people who have android or iOS or other smartphone wont go for this phone and bada users really want an android phone belive me i am one of those users and since samsung isnt supporting my phone and it have bada app store not like android i guess it will really fail if samsung doesnt support it quickly , do you know that samsung was going to make 1.2 bada update for wave 525 and wave 533 users but they didnt do that because they were supporting galaxy series and thats why galaxy series have huge amount of users and samsung should care about little things that makes users happy like the main menu background they are making it white why not let users choose of course this doesnt seem to be a really big problem but features like this can get huge amount of users and lets disscus the desgin why are they making this desgin over and over and over why??? i dont know but thats what they do if they give bada better supporting i am sure it will gain big amount of users but untill now they doesnt seem to be willing to that

There is a common saying that if you cannot invent something good, just copy it, this seems to be roadmap for some of those K companies...
Well, sick phones which can never see the light, even if it sees would you like to spend your hard earned money on a sick phone. Not seen such a lazy phone than this one, and people still feel that there is a market share for this ...

First Improve the bada IDE performance .There are lot of issues .And Very difficult to trace bugs.But I never think samsung can make app store like android,iPhone with this stupid Bada IDE.
For end user its very gud phone.

Stick with your Wave 8500 snd 8530...they will get bada 2.0 update soon...the new updated OS will run smoother and faster and lots of new stufs....

Maybe there won't be any star III this fall and this bada phone will be the equivalent.
I had a bada phone for almost a year and it was an epic fail. never had a device with that big amount of bugs.
Bada would'nt have a chance at all so they are focussing in low budget devices with wave 578 and 725.
You must be a dumb to buy a high-end device these days. what you get is good hardware and alot of themes. browser is crap, gps is crap, appstore is crap (should better be called themestore), musik player is ccrap, social network apps like twitter & facebook are really the biggest crap ever seen.
so i think it's the right strategy to sell these devices at christmas around 100 bucks, so all the kids can feel like having an iphone too.

The wave s8500 still reigns supreme and nowt replaced it as flagship..The s8530 had bigger screeb but had poorer speaker and no super-amoled and slightly worse battery..Ive had mine s8500 nearly a year and its done great,really great,justs needs a decent twitter client,i am using snaptu of all things.

With these specs and all put into the Samsung star body I think this proves that Samsung have no plans at all to make bada a high range OS.looks like its gonna be a symbian substitute after all.shame.

samsung wave 1 is already enough for me.. no more bada phone for now.. i gotta switch to android by november.. how i wish bada hould hasten up the creation of more applications! more quality games please! :P
