franz.alex, 21 Dec 2017I'd buy a Kindle in a heartbeat if it supported EPUB files.... moreThere are actually some really easy ways to get epub files to kindle! Just google it. Programs like Calibre can take epubs etc and change them into MOBI files so they're supported.

I disagree with you comments. I had this a few weeks and it is lightening fast!!! I find no problems with the grip but I do admit it took a week to get used to the size. Mine moves with blazing speeds and very sensitive touch display. Audible works great but without immersion reading but I hear an update is in the works on that. I must tell you all that you do not get 6 weeks battery life like amazon claims No matter what I do I ave to charge about every week and a half and that's based on about 20 minutes to an hour reading a day

I'd buy a Kindle in a heartbeat if it supported EPUB files. Unfortunately Amazon still wants everyone to use their format so I'm afraid I'll have to pass once again.

        Where is the specs sheet?

Anonymous, 19 Dec 2017It doesn't provide offline dictionary/translations? My Kobo... moreIt has a dictionary but not translations.

              Does it support the following:
              - Folders
              - Wordwrap (text reflow) for PDF files
              - SD card slot
              - Epub add FB2 formats

OldPhone, 18 Dec 2017In your comments about battery life, you suggest you would ... moreWhen you quickly want to look up a word or its translation it's better not to fumble with the Wi-Fi every time.

StigN, 18 Dec 2017But still no 5G support? It's a e-reader, why do you need 5G? That's just going to make it more expensive for a feature that's useless most of the time

I acutally still have Kindle 4th generation. Thought about upgrading on black friday, but then l realized it still serves me well. Battery is still great, and having that leather cover with in-built light makes up for lack of lighting. Remarkable devices

In your comments about battery life, you suggest you would want the wifi on during reading - I'm not sure why, surely you would have the book downloaded.
