this is probably the worst phone ever allowed to leave the factory. Whoever was behind the quality control department should seriously be replaced with better management

Is it even worth to announce pixel 3? I think pretty much pixel 2 is killing Google phone brand

Just make stock Android versions of flagships; not everybody wants to be a Beta tester. Like the Google Play version phones of old.

It's the usual story though: a few people have a problem, the internet blows it up into "this phone is a disaster".

For the record, the update made no difference at all to the unlock speed on mine.

I think anyone getting Pixel 2 despite all the quality drama really deserves what's coming. I don't think we've ever had so bad Android phones, and it only gets compounded by its extraorbital price.

                          Typical Google "quality" of products.

These phones are worth $70 and $50. (XL and normal)

DealBreaker, 18 Dec 2017they can charge whatever they want as long as there will be... moreExactly! There was a time we as consumers bought stuff through research. Now we buy them with price or brands. Majority ensures even 1000 barrier for a phone is normal! 1000 mark for a phone? Seriously :D

Tanase Adrian, 18 Dec 2017the phones has a crappy display for that kind of money man,... moreI do agree that the price and quality which we get are not expected. But all I added is, this is the case with every manufacturer. Which manufacturer released a flawless phone with pocket friendly price? It's business as usual for them as every company sees profits and all we get nowadays is premium price (Note8, Pixel 2, iPhone X), become BETA testers for free (Oreo Beta programme by manufacturers) and forced innovations (remove 3.5 mm jack)! Lol, what age we are in now.

Tanase Adrian, 18 Dec 2017the phones has a crappy display for that kind of money man,... morethey can charge whatever they want as long as there will be people to pay for it...no matter the quality of the product or the number of bugs in it.Sadly people are still paying that much money for low quality products just because of the brand name or for some other features that are good quality in the product (ex.pixel camera)...either way...in my opinion not a single device on the market (smartphones) is worth the 1000 euro price tag.But they charge because we allow it by buying the stuff.

Dilmeet, 18 Dec 2017Well, Android and Apple both have their set of problems so ... morethe phones has a crappy display for that kind of money man, what are we talking about?!the remaining bugs to be squashed are just a bonus,if i may say so.you can't chrge 1000 euro and put a display like that, let's be serious!
