Why the fingerprint scanner still close to the dual camera? Because user can use their finger to wipe the lenses when they press in accidently.

Samsung needs something new; in order to deal with Apple's Face ID.
So, If we consider the photos as S9 Backplate, then we see a dual camera setup, because the place is fit for Two camera and under screen Fingerprint scanner to fight with Face ID.
I have a reason that this is not the back of S9:
There is a distinguishable element in S series since S5. The element is the place of LED flash. It is not in line with the lens. It is a bit upper or tend to side of lens. "You can check".
Instead, A series After Galaxy Alpha, (I mean Ax) locate the LED flashlight right in line with the lens. so This is definitely a variant of A series or even C or J Series.
Not a chance to be S9.

I think it was the S7 Edge, he claimed would have a 6 inch display, so he was wrong. The bezels on his S8 CAD looked a bit larger than they turned out to be, but the S8 was so heavily leaked and the design was settled early on. The S9 could be subject to change from the early CAD... As for this leak, the cut out looks to be the size of two cameras, rather than a camera and fingerprint reader, so it could be fake. Lets see.

Yup, OnLeaks' rendered showed a single camera on the S9, and his track record when he gets enough information to make a render (i.e. CAD files) is pretty good, so I'm inclined to believe this.
Which wouldn't bother me, as long as the quality is good enough (a bit less sharpening and saturation if you are listening, Samsung).

As a matter of fact, the s7 looks better and has similar hardware as the S8. If the s9 has no significant hw advancements, it would really suck tho

Now granted I'm not totally impartial as I have the S8 plus. However based on what I have seen thus far and yes it is nothing definite but I don't see the S9 pair even being that greater upgrade from the S7's let alone the S8's. I cannot see someone who didn't upgrade from one of the S7's going to the S9's. What compelling wow factor does it have that the S8's don't?

No dual camera and only 4 gb ram for 2018 flagship??
And still cost whopping €800??
Samsung is over confident now..
First they ditch small screen flagship..
And now ditch features from standrad flagship..
Actually samsung trying to sell s9 plus more and force consumers to buy bigger variant..In that way they can make more money !!
But sammy forget next year they will face some competition from nokia 9 and sony's upcoming bezel less flagships!

I'd prefer Older setup of S7 & S7 Edge or before, curved and non curved screens. Because now everyone are forced to choose the edge version, that's the main reason for the downfall of S8 & S8+ sales. Because edge design is more fragile and not everyone prefers to have it.
Further, removing the secondary camera of S9 is stupid idea. Most of mid-range or even low end current phones sports dual camera setup (Huawei, Xioami etc...), But sammy is omitting for the flagship of 2018, and this gonna be an utter failure.
