Think more pls, 20 Dec 2017USB-C are way more expensive, and for audiophiles, they won... moreWords "Audiophile" and "MP3" do not belong in a sentence together, I hope you realize this. Neither does Bluetooth.

Besides, audiophile grade headphones cost a huge amount of money anyways, so that is not the problem. ;)

If you mean for a usual user, then there are good headphones for not so much money - Mi headphones cost 40$, Razer Hammerheads cost 69$ and so on.

And at the end of the day - if you really love your 3.5mm headphones, just plug the adapter on the headphone side and leave it there, that way you won't have to walk around with a dongle.

sure they bring some features but paying that much, ud rather just get a bluetooth headphone.

Although, pro audiophiles (like me) would use a dedicated mp3 player anyway, which is why i dont get the complainings

It does not mean that you have to use Bluetooth (like Apple). Just use the USB-C earphones! They come with the phone!

Just use the UCB-C earphones that come with the phone. Or just buy ones that you like - there's plenty of earphones and headphones with USB-C connection.

AnonD-692822, 19 Dec 2017Yeah. Dongles are the future of audio tech. For God's sak... more Let's bring sense back.

I had a pair Sony Bluetooth headphones until their battery went dead. I am thinking about another Bluetooth headset that has hi res audio capacity for a 2018 purchase. Until then, I am gonna use wired headphones, and no, dongles aren't cool. Thank you! :-) .

I hope they keep and improve upon their Boomsound tech... because the prototypes have tiny bezels, and don't appear to have space for speakers that knock people's socks off.

Habib Brizieq, 19 Dec 2017U12 is coming... Can't wait! How's A9 battery life fitbr... moreYes the A9 definitely has the look. I wish too the 10 was like that. I am a high moderate user and get a full day. I wish they would make another but no full glass back. Hate all glass with passion. Messy. I feel great on A9 not to change till the right one comes. Pixel 2 nearly did but does not have that that glass to frame smoothness like this

When Google took over Motorola for $12.5 billion on November 2011, everybody was excited . After that......., what happened with Motorola until end up with Lenovo.

Some terrific models in recent times. Still loving our One A9, just beautiful. The two companies are likely a great match. Something really good will come from it. Win win.

HTC has always provided the best audio out there, and adding 3.5mm port would make the audio quality suffer.

                              Stop moaning about it, jeez!

With newly aquired Google money, HTC can afford to bring back 3.5 mm headphone jacks on it's handsets. Yea!
