I use it for fb messenger. Fb messenger app is a crap which pop up msgs anywhere

When you use FB it tells you that all your friends are using Messenger and so should you, if you push a product really hard it's inevitable 100,000,000 will install it, I'm surprised more haven't installed it. The permissions are a hole other subject.
