I love the way how people talk shit about WP7....I mean do you own one?? have you used one atleast a month or so to talk shit about it??
WP7 DOES not need Dual core cpu's to be able to run smooth, like android needs. I'm not telling android is bad, I myself have an HTC desire, that piece of crap is sometimes lagging even in menus, eventhough I use those space consuming task managers. WP7 doesn't even need one.
Oh and by theway MS nor the OEMs are forcing you to use a WP7 phone, if you don't like something don't buy it. Other people will, people that wants something different. Not everyone in the world is hackers, devs, or somebody that likes to mod the look of the OS.
People that talk shit about something should accept reality that not everyone is thinking the way you are.
Most current existing smartphones are being bought by regular consumers
like business people, celebrities, teens that likes to be up to date in fashion or even busy moms at home and the rest maybe 1/3 are tech junkies that really looks on how the OS should look like and than talks crap about something that for them is not correct because of the looks or specs.

I think it's an exclusive one to take a new taste of Samsung.but if Samsung brings it with 1.5 gb RAM,1.5 gb processor or more than that as sony Erricson recently showed one ,it won't be the same as galaxy s 2 rather it will make an extraordinary one to boost up SAMSUNG's business.

Well, it doesn't cost them much to just modify their phone but is it worth it for Windows Phone 7? It turned out to be a failure and until it's limitations are gone even Nokia won't help it and it'll only take both companies down.

Anonymous, 13 Jul 2011Oh, come on! An OS full of tiles? Most ugly looking UI made... moreI'm pretty sure you're lying... I wouldn't want to own an ancient phone even over WP7. Don't make stupid exaggerations even if you don't like the phone. Also, I'm quite certain you haven't used WP7 and if you're saying that the iOS or Android UI is Amy more aesthetically pleasing, you've got to be kidding. iOS hasn't changed since the start and Android looks pretty damn disgusting and bland. And that's a relatively unbiased view because I own the HTC Desire.

Its good to see Samsung offer their best device to run the Windows Phone OS but I am still plenty more excited to see Nokia's handsets.
I've never had a Nokia device, I have watched videos of the different devices they currently have out and they have managed to make me wait, i will purchase a Nokia/Windows phone...

mark, 13 Jul 2011wow well done samsung first samsung device not a be an Appl... morehuh? It's got a round button in the middle, silver trim and a black border around the screen.
This prototype resembles the iPhone as much as the SGS2 does. I bet Apple won't try suing Microsoft though because they're well defended with US patents of their own.

1 Thing that i don't get is, Nokia says it went with WP7 over android as android has become mass produced and theres no exclusivity. Well how come WP7 is better, u cant even change the live tiles or view or themes or and interface for that matter, Samsung, lg, htc, etc are all making and selling WP7 as well. I know the service and product quality is good with Nokia, but with other companies going with multiple os, are making huge profits, look at Galaxy SII, and HTC. why wudnt it go with both OS like others, Nokia smartphone sales have died since android is on the rise with huge range and price of products. Nokia is loosing customer base as well as prospective buyers as the WP7 is also taking a lot of time. Gud Luk Nokia

1. I hope that the screen would have at least qHD resolution.
Rumors about the next google Nexus smartphone mention a 720p screen - so maybe qHD is not enough...
2. Would phone7 devices would surely be upgradeable to phone8?

Well i am not a tech expert but i do think that if there is an expensive nokia wp7 device and entry level but well balanced android device than people might prefer android.
