Hold on SE did you not have a press release at launch of Galaxy s2 about how there was no point in dual core on android 2.3 and how the fantastic ARC was fully optimised with a single core......Mugs!

Mobilemaster, 14 Jul 2011Hi! I don't think that the Retina is the best screen. The ... moreOLED technologies main disadvantages is "Burn-In" effect and short "Lifespan". That's why I don't like AMOLED displays. Yes, LG's NOVA display is really not bad.

I don't think that the Retina is the best screen. The Super Amoled Plus can beat it I think, or LG's Nova display.

I love the processor, but XPERIA Duo's screen isn't as soft as XPERIA Ray (the size of every pixel). For performance, I choose XPERIA Duo. For screen I choose XPERIA Ray.
We know that there's still no one can beat the retina display of iPhone4.
But iPhone4 serves lower spec than both XPERIA.

This is definitely a replacement of my Xperia X10. My decision is right not to buy Xperia Arc as I am really waiting for SE's Dual-core and this is it - the Xperia Duo. If GSMarena is correct on initial specs then this is not only a smartphone but a "superphone". I am also using HTC HD2 (w/ Android OS) with 4.3" screen, so if Xperia Duo has 4.5", it's not a big difference especially Xperia Duo has edge-to-edge screen. For me, 4.5" is the maximum screen size for a smartphone. SE should consider a xenon flash in this unit to compensate the 12MP camera and the 2500 mah battery. September-October this year I think is the best time to release (if SE is willing to compete with iPhone 4S (or 5?). SE should always consider a very competitive retail price. SE fans like me, be ready for another unending bashing from non-SE users who felt always insecure every time SE releases a new smartphone.

1.4ghz dual core A-9 processor with mali-400 sounds like an overclocked version of SGSII but i'm sure it will be more feature full and much better as it is from SE now i just SE take out this beast quickly before it gets outdated :D

With a battery that size lets hope it has a xenon flash.
4.5" screen come on 4.2" screen should be the max for a phone.
