-vm-, 27 Dec 2017Waste of money .. Xiami is better Well, this phone is a bit better than any low end phone out there. Where else can you get a low end phone with superamoled screen? None. If you talking about Xiaomi Redmi 5A, the specs and price is similar except the screen. Who else relesed low end in 2017? Panasonic Eluga I9; not bad for $116 you get fingerprint sensor too. Nokia 2; snapdragon 212 and price at €120 terrible marketing. Xperia L1; quite sturdy looking but too expensive for MT6737 at €190. We strictly talking about entry level here. Dont bring device like Xiaomi Redmi Note series as comparison. Cheap but that are midrangers.

Some manufacturers will always be more expensive than another. You always get more bang for he buck From noname manufacturers, but you Also lose something else. So it is up how much more you Are willing to pay for X. And that is very individual choise.

Samsung's advertisement regarding these lower end J series phones in the subcontinent is beyond expectations. People fall for it and will buy this crap eventually. It's sad.
