This comment is true as I have a Sony z3 and an Nokia 808 and the Nokia led, NOT the Xenon flash, is about twice as bright as the z3's. Maybe they are brighter now or perhaps I got a dud but the comment is correct & your argument of not needing a bright flash is obsured. Why have any flash at all if its not going to illuminate the subject matter.
As for later comments about the quality of the camera I agree with you that in daylight Sony cameras are great and there is a lot of misleading information on many websites out then (I assume paid advertising by rivals).
I agree with you about the ram too. Having watched u-tube vids and played around with xz premiums of others its lightning fast and such a great phone. I wish GSMArena would specify what type of ram, not just its size, is in each phone because we as customers are clearly being b**ls**tted to by a few manufacturers. I mean if a pc from 2010 has 16 gig of ddr3 ram its still going to be blown away by the 2017 model with 8 or even 4 gig of ddr5 depending on the frequency and many other factors.

It was reported that Xperia XA2 Ultra (all carriers number of H42XX) will able to record 4K@30fps not just the rear camera , but also the dual-front facing cameras (read : dual selfie cameras) too , as their flagships (XZP , XZ1 , XZ1c and XZs) hasn't have that feature yet and only few of them able to do that (Asus Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro only i know that able to do 4K@30fps in selfie camera currently) . I think Snapdragon 630 already able to the task of 4K video recording since then .
I forgot what sources that mentioned still-quite-rare feature of a phone , but i think i'll crossed my fingers .

I honestly think it is fake, I remember seeing a similar pic last year claiming the same. But since GSMarena report it then it is likely true😥.
I hope they don't adopts this design in the upcoming high-end release, especially the rear FBR.

I am very reserved about the leak. The back is completely non-xperia like. Not because of the fp-scanner and centered camera but because of the big fillets on the side that completely dismiss block design language of Xperia. It could be the lighting though.
There is no doubt that this time it's real physical model and most likely a real unit. No one would go such a long way to brand the fake shell only to "leak it".
And all those bezeless people should really use the bezeless android first to see first hand how it doesn't work. Unless you are happy to adjust your grip or use two hand just so you could pre back button than more power to you. You might as well be banging the head at the same time to interact with another android function that is not adjusted for bezeless functionality.

The fingerprint sensor placement on the rear is way too ugly for Sony. As Sony should place it on the front, if it is not on the power button on the side.
Sony should make it 18:9 screen instead of "edge to edge" 16:9 screen if they insist to put their fingerprint scanner on the rear.
I hope they will come up with true "Full View" screen than other pseudo-full view phones especially infamous iPhone X's "horns" notch .
