If the screen is 100inch you can definitely see the difference between 4 and 8k.
It represents the total amount of pixels, the bigger your screen, the more you will see a difference.

Some idiots say's its a waste of money as there is no difference human eye can detect between 8k And 4k. It's a 88 inch display, hope you know the size if not then it covers half of your wall. so the pixel size increases and needed a better resolution. LG displays are stunning dont judge on specs. go watch it at a store near you.

few people can only see the difference of 4k and 8k resolution. I think only the people that are really in to the technology will considered buying this 8k reso.

No human eye can see the duifference between 4k and 8k no matter what.
So another waste of money on research.
Only good thing which comes from this is that 4k screens will be cheaper in almost every brand.
Apart from Samsung Sony and Appe which will sell expensive as always.

Peter UK, 02 Jan 2018I'm kinda Sammyboy and I think this TV is awesome piece of ... moreMan human eye cant spot diffferences between 4k and 8k so its another waste of tech,
Only good it brings its knowing a 4k screen will cost 30%-40% less money.
Apart from that having 8k anywhere makes no sense.
The motion quality of picture you will be able to see will ba same like on 4k TV.

this is real innovation but what I am excited more is the prices of 2k and 4k led tv will go down if not drastically,
that's the good thing as a typical customer. like what anonymous guy post, yah this is just a gimmick for mid life status of an alien guy. LMAO

4K came on note3 with FHD screen. Considering that we need at least Premium phone.
As for usefulness, may be good to see your 808/1020 photo collection, or maybe even timelapse video. Would those devices survived and brought next generations, we would be close. No apple can do 4K60fps, 8K30fps/4K120fps is just step away.

Too late. I was looking for a 4k 88 incher and all I was getting was that atrocious qled and I have lost interest since. Also 8k is wasted on tvs, nobody is going to sit closer than 2m with that beast and any further you can't tell the difference.
So better stop the kids' stuff and simply release an 88 incher liker everybody else. If you can do 8k oled , you certainly can do 88, 4k.
