Stop crying Galaxy S SL users. After all the Ace was released first. They're on track to what was earlier reported that they'll release by the end of July.

I'm very sorry, but this is kind of a old piece of news.. The thing is that i got my Galaxy Ace about a week ago and connected with KIES and it updated my phone to Android 2.3.3. The exact date was 7th july. And it has become official just now?

Galaxy Ace is higly selling droid phone, see the daily number of hits that it is getting, that is why it got the update.
Also in competition with wildfire S which comes with preloaded Gingerbread.
Well Gingerbread 2.3.4 is already available on samfirmware.com but it will void ur warranty.
Thanx Samsung, just in 4 months u released gingerbread update :)

Hi,
for CRT animation it's only avaible on the Nexus S because it's a "pure google OS" (=AOSP), meaning without touchwizz/sense or other UI.
But you can have it only with a Custom ROM ;)

In romania the gingerbread update ORO isnt out yet for original galaxy S ... and its been over 1 month since the oficial release of the update...
