Symbian 3 was a touch input OS between S60 and Windows which allowed widgets and homescreen shortcuts to any app or location within the menu "steps" as u put it. Not to mention that 3rd party apps and unlocking the device allowed for administrative manoeuvrability no different to any modern day Android device.
The reasons why Symbian on Nokia died was because Microsoft was failing with Windows Phone 7.5 & wanted an established brand to sell Windows 8 for mobile. So they put a Trojan horse (Stephan Elop https://www.theverge.com/2015/6/17/8796465/grand-theft-elop) in to get Nokia mobile cheap, hence no room for 1 (Symbian) let alone 2 (meego) OS's competing internally with Windows 8.
As for your ridiculous comment and link to Nokia 6 2017 vs 2018 just look at how many similar devices Same-sung, Oppo & Asus release each year. Nokia's releases are nothing in relativity to the competition.
As for the last statement, you clearly meant "835" not "635" but I agree, all phone's should have an expansion slot to even be considered imo, as no expansion mean companies will start charging a premium for minor incremental increases in storage as Apple ALWAYS have done.

This is how the Nokia 6 was supposed to come. With a true Mid Range specs. Now they will be the new Moto G of this year. Sorry Mi A1.

Now, people expect even the well-estabilshed brands to have the same pricing as Xiaomi/Honor, especially now that Nokia/HMD, while not Chinese-owned, do most of the manufacturing process in China, but they always forget/ignore that Nokia/HMD phones are quality phones and really well-built compared to cheaper offers from other brands.

16:9 with thin bezel? Great. That will be very remarkable choice. BTW, 18:9 is just all about making the viewing bigger and not wide angle to expand the view.

Nokia went to Microsoft due to OS security, whereas Android is porous, Windows doesn't need monthly security patches as Windows malware simply is isolated
That Nokia and Microsoft partnership ended in tears.

The Nokia 6 2018, crosses over into the Nokia 7
The soon to be launched Nokia 9 is a bezel less Nokia 8, keeping the same Snapdragon 635 (same as Samsung S8)
The Nokia 8 with memory expansion is Imo a better pick than the pixel 8 Oneplus5 both non expansion, all snapdragon 635, all similar benchmarks

Don't expect much from camera and performance, but did expect more than typical Chinese bezels.
I for one would favor a small bezel 16:9 screen phone over a small bezel 18:9 one, but Nokia seems to be unable to build phones with small bezels...

Only someone who doesn't know anythin... moreAre you sane bro just months back OEMs were still using SD625 on all their devices even some of the Newer phone's like the Xiaomi Redmi 5 and 5 plus were launched with 625 there are only a hand-full of devices that have SD630 and would most probably be standard for 2018 also what more do you expect from a 250$ phone if the price was $400 and above then you could have cried about the chipset.
the chipsets below 640 are for lower Midrange phones and the chipsets above 650 are for higher midrange phones which cost over $400
And this phone is a lower Midrange phone.
with Nokia 7 and 8 being Higer Midrange and Nokia 9 the flagship

Are you a person who works at Nokia and has already seen the phone b4 launch the images which were leaked in TENAA show bezels are small enough And the phone dosent have to be 18:9 to sport thin bezels it can be achieved with 16:9 ratio also. Don't talk shit b4 the phone launches.

SD 630 lolz facepalm. Only someone who doesn't know anything about phones would buy it. It has FHD screen and crappy processor which won't be able to do so much processing soon.
