They have the best looking phones in terms of colors, plus they have white, black, and then special colors which makes them unique and stand out compared to the every day colors you find on every phone. What did you expect, shitty gold, and rose gold? Lol

HTC had promised Oreo updated in all U11 by fourth quarter of 2017. But we didn't receive Oreo updates in middle east also.

at least pixel phones have a problem, i know they will correct it sooner than any other brand.
still i will not buy a pixel if its made from Lg, or any trash brand. since now they have 2.000 employes from HTC working on the new pixel i hope it will a good device. if not im pretty happy with my htc u11 performance and stability. i wish i had more updates, thats all.

HTC died a long time ago, but they confirmed it to me by removing the 3.5mm jack...

Keep your jackless cardboard like quality phones. I don't want one even if you send it for free.

Delay with update is not a big deal. They have much more serious reasons to apologize for: 1) removal of 3.5 mm jack and 2) cheesy shiny colors. Both of these turned off much more HTC fans than delay with update... I'm still hoping that they accept their mistake, apologize for it and fix the mess. Otherwise there is no way they stay in business for more than a year or so.

I am using OP5 and am still on Nougat. I never thought I would be the one of the last to get Oreo. One plus OS is very close to stock. Don't know why it's taking so much time. Hopefully in next week or two we should be getting that update.

I have updated to Oreo for a couple of weeks. It's promising so far except some minor issues like the name of Sim 1 and 2 won't appear in the dialing screen. It's fast and stable. The time to switch on the phone is faster than before. But I don't understand why it needs to reload everything again after inputting the pins and doesn't just go to the home screen directly when i switch on the phone.

They should be sorry! I use a Sony Xperia XZ Premium and have had Oreo since October last year and even received a few updates since. Perfectly stable software and with improved battery life. And as far as I know Sony are already planning to roll out Android 8.1 very soon to a number of devices. What’s taking HTC/Samsung/LG so long?

they lost me on this broken promise. 2 security updates in 6 months is kinda bad. i'm not saying that lg and samsung are better, because i dont even consider those brands. i was used to nexus devices and iphones updates and those other brandes updates makes me nervose. i will only go for pixel next time, because IOS is a boring OS.
