Same for their mousepad and Kraken headphones.

i would rather spend few pennies on the batteries in 0.5-2 years rather than spend that much on a mat that might spoilt as well

Really Razer is good? My naga epic chroma wireless (one of the expensive ones) just died yesterday after 2yr of usage. Funny part how razer buld them. The whole mouse shell is ok, bet then your battery dies that's it. You unable to use it in wireless or wired mode, because of the microusb, not responding to anything. So wow really nice comapany in this manner. Btw razer fanboys check out youtube,and you will see how many videos about lagging, freezing, die'ing battery issues all razer mouse has.

Using razer naga league of egend edition for several years and still no issues.
Mouse speed is amazing. Everything works perfectly.

Razer makes permanent solution.
Razer was always before other gaming companies.
My firt razer mice lasted 12 years.
No other mice lasts that long.

I use the Razer Mamba and the Firefly mat at my workplace. Performance is amazing.
I always wondered why the mouse couldn't be charged wirelessly.
Now, here we go. I will probably upgrade next year or so but I loved the idea which I was wishing for.
People comparing Logitech with this is complete non-sense. They are not even similarly built. For reference, my wireless Razer Mamba can go upto 16000 dpi and I am using it since 2016 without any issues.

Well, I prefer my wireless ones with AA batteries that I just pop some cheapo Ni-MH and they last for weeks/months with a charge. By the way I can tune the weight of the device with using EITHER one or two batteries (they're parallel, can actually be even hotswapped, tho there's no real advantage to that), or chose lighter ones (Ni-Cd ones are a lot lighter than Ni-MH ones for example). Out of charge? Grab any random AA cell and throw inside it, while the main ones charge. Also no mouse pad required at all.
Some of those "new technologies" seem way more like a step backwards instead of forward.
