Everything this Oneplus does is a scam. "We're not owned by Oppo" but on launch they r. "We don't implement spyware" but they do."We don't retain user data" yet they do. "Our phones are the fastest implementation of the new 8xx SoC" yet we pre-install software to cheat. "There's no jelly effect on the Oneplus 5" but there is. "We're not updating the Oneplus 5 early bcus of basic hardware implementation flaws (our screens r upside-down)" but they release the T model less than 6 month after the original 5 model.
I can't believe anyone would ever consider buying their crap let alone compare it to a phone not even in the same category as it. It's a cheap flagship, the XA2 is a MIDRANGE phone.
Buy Oppo Vivo Oneplus if you don't care about your privacy or idenity theft, consider the rest if you do.
Oneplus employees... Erm..I mean... "fans" please stop spruiking ur hardware on the comment pages of other brands products not even in the same market as urs.

Sony has step up their game in 2018 with Xperia L2 albeit unpopular quad core Mediatek SoC on entry level phone.
By making even their entry level phone is having a fingerprint scanner, it is a real challenge now. Not only for Sony themselves but also for Samsung, LG, Huawei-Honor, Lenovo-Moto, Oppo-Vivo, and Xiaomi.
Oneplus, Razer, Google and Apple are excluded.

Jeez, each of these device is 10mm thick. Terrible screen DPI, just the XA2 being an exception but the screen at 5.2 is way to little.
If sony prices them at 250-280USD i guess it wil be fair, but more than 300 dollars it's way too expensive. Rather be buying a used oneplus 3T

A8 more expensive, no OIS camera, no camera stabilisation, worse back and front cameras, no 4k, no aptx HD, worse battery on a higher res screen, worse SoC...
But I am certain it will sell more.
Just dont see the proper reason except heavy marketing behind it.
