And the next phone that they release is a huge upgrade to the first (S8+'s single camera to Note 8's dual camera, G6's SD821 to V30's SD835, and P10 Plus' Kirin 960 to Mate 10's Kirin 970).

OnePlus 5T? Just a OnePlus 5 with smaller bezels, larger screen, and wider screen ratio.
Camera has seen little to no improvement (sometimes even became worse than the original) despite what the change is suggesting.
And to release a flagship phone, only to have it succeeded by a newer one in just a few weeks or months, has to be one of the silliest things a potential company could ever do.

Look at how LG launches the LG G series and months later the V series

Come on, every brand released 2 major flagship every year but despite that, you're complaining only towards oneplus.
Don't you want oneplus to earn money or what? They deserve to be a big company like Huawei and samsung, they do everything right and i'm ok with the 2 flagships every year.
Oneplus devices are rock solid, with an awesome modding support, regular updates for an afordable price. Oneplus only earns like 50-100USD for every device sold. The rest is to pay off labor, and all the peolpe who are working on the device.
A lot of money goes to produce another new device with many projects and testings
I would totally be ok if they launched 3 devices every year

I really dislike the speed with which they release new phones or versions of the phone. It makes you feel bad when a new shinny phone is release only months (or weeks) after you bought yours. I recently ordered my oneplus 5t sandstone white, just to find out it will be outdated in 4 months. Great :/

Everyone is so Butthurt these days. Probably a bunch of shallow Samsung/Apple fanboys or people who haven't actually used the phone. I switched years ago from the Apple trend and have never looked back, sad to think i wasted so much money on overpriced/overhyped pocket glitter. I think the mix of hardware/software provided by Oneplus is solid and i've used a bunch of android devices over the years... and i'd also say that unless you are a professional photographer you'd be hard pressed to find a better device than the 5t at the moment especially at the price point. I can't fault the camera for everyday use and if i wanted the perfect shot id go get a dedicated camera. Sure its not perfect, it has it's issues...but as an overall package, it just can't be faulted for what it achieves. Also just to touch on the privacy concerns. The only thing i'd have a slight gripe about is the slow implementation of security patches but in this day and age i doubt it means sh*t, and in all fairness i have noticed faster updates lately so i assume these concerns have been heard. People will get your data if they really want to. No company truly protects data and i think that's out there for everyone to see. Personally i haven't felt any negative affects. It's actually a great phone.

I Do Not say other brands are not collecting or sending data, I'm talking about permission. I believe all others do the same but they let you know and in some cases they do as OnePlus. But the question is why these leaks don't come out about Xiaomi, Huawei, Sony, blackberry and etc. ? In last 2 months people caught OP sending datas to Singapore, China, Alibaba and Canada sercers. And last thing what I remember is cheating in benchmarks, for sure not a single understandable and believable explanation. Come on, I personally can't trust a company with so much popcorn stories. Why not a honor View 10 without data Spectre, cheating, ... ?

They are sending data as well but not without permission, at least didn't leak like OnePlus.
