Honor 9 Lite India launch set for next week

On its official forums, the company has announced that the India launch event for the phone is set for January 17.

Honestly.. Why? A slightly smaller screen with a smaller battery and a lower mp count on the primary rear camera compared to the Honor 9i which is available in India for 18k. I guess the 9 lite would hit a lower price range. But still how low could it be.. There's also the 7x and the older but still kicking Honor 8. Huawei going the samsung way flooding the market with boatloads of devices..
