It does not seem new model of Sharp Aquos S2, but just little face-lift revision of 6 month old Aquos S2. Same AP and memory and battery configuration. Little better than Aquos S2, but hard to tell the difference. If you already own Sharp Aquos S2, no need to look at this model. I can not figure out why Sharp make this minor revision of Aquos S2.
Just wait few months and make brand new model with newer mid-range AP like Snapdragon 670 or 640 of 2018.

Much better looking than Aquos S2, but their android version still leaves a lot to be desired.

Go check up on sharp they had notch before apple, which the essential phone adopted. Apple just added their own twist to it cause of their face id features.
Sharp is actually leading the way with minimum bezel. Just because they are not sold worldwide people do not know.

Not sure who copies who, because this model is based on the predecessor Aquos S2 (8797), which was announced and released before the iPhone X. One could easily say it’s the other way around, but the hype and marketing around said iPhone is just greater than that of Sharp, especially on a global scale. So for folks who haven’t heard of the S2, it’s easy to assume it’s all an Apple copy. I do appreciate both Apple and Android devices, if engineered well in both software and hardware. Just putting it out there.

Just laughing on the people who are blaming manufacturers for copying Iphones..u must know Iphones never had something new...instead of that performance slow down..I like Iphones due to their performance and secure os but blaming others is just a childish behaviour.

They already proved that they can sell almost anything for almost any price nowadays.
