AnonD-720827, 17 Jan 2018Exactly. We Samsung users don't care on your stock Android ... moreTrue.
It's almoust a year since S8 was released and it's still dominating the market. And while other companies still struggle to keep up with almoust a year old S8 - the Note8 is on whole new level.
Hands down, Note8 just pretty much owns everything else in terms of features...
And release of S9 and S9+ is just around the corner...

S8 User, 16 Jan 2018Look, the S8 slaughters Pixel 2 in both - hardware and feat... moreExactly. We Samsung users don't care on your stock Android ROM. So what if you get 8.0 out of the box in September on your Sony? So what if you get 8.0 update one month after Google releases it? Try getting half of the features I'm getting and using on the Note 8 and then we'll talk. You can only have 2 app multiwindows in 8.0 while we could have app heads (minimizing apps into a small icon that can be expanded on the screen anytime) since Note 4 on Android 4.4. Try beating that.

AnonD-481725, 15 Jan 2018Oreo?! Isn't last year Android version, WTH Samsung?! It's this year's OS. 2017 july to june 2018 is the arc when Oreo is the most updated version of Android. there's not yet Android P. (it has a name yet?)so Oreo is the most up to date.
(Disappointed it's 8.0.. could've been 8.1...)

Reason why is Samsung slow is that they don't use boring stock Android. And they are always in front of Android in terms of features.

S8 User, 15 Jan 2018LMAO HAHAHA
I really don't know why so many Sony fans star... moreThe matter of fact that Samsung fanboys started an irrelevant ranting on the launch of arguably the best mid range smartphones of early 2018, the XA2 series, has gave them a reason to do the same thing against Samsung fanboys. The only difference is that Sony fans' rants are way more realistic, truthful, and relevant than Samsung fans'. Like, small bezels could actually save a company or so.
Samsung, well, has never been known to release good updates on time. It's been for decades that this is happening, and we don't see it changing anytime soon.
They can promote their small bezels all the way, and when everybody joins the same master league of it while offering so much better experience, Samsung would loose its glory. But who knows, Samsung is number one at luring people's minds into belief that what they do is always right. They can market their products even in my bathroom, which tells how desperate are they to sell.
Btw the A8 and A8+ 2018 may have just won the prize of being the most overpriced mid range smartphones of early 2018.
