    This is BULLSHIT
I like Dbrand ... in fact, i just ordered a skin for my LG G6 yesterday (rear glass got broken ... it's not that bad ... ive seen far worse results than this on drop tests , on mine it's just 3 hair thin lines going from top to bottom, but the camera glass is intact)
SO .. YEs, i like the Dbrand culture , and i doubt that they said that and if they really did and it's not an exagerration, I CANT' HELP BUT DISAGREE

THE NOKIA 3 IS A 160$ PIECE OF AWESOMENESS
Would you believe me if i told you it WIPES THE FLOOR WITH THE SAMSUNG J5 2016 WHICH IS $400 FFS ?
The Nokia is not only superior in build quality (the black one ... but you'd have to be a special kind of idiot not to buy the black one)
It tops it in performance as well .
Stock Android FLIES on that thing and, as of now IT's GOT ANDROID 7.1.1 (my LG G6 which is a flagship has Android 7.0,and the aforementioned J5 is still stuck in Marshmallow)

    This phone, the Nokia 3 is SO GOOD, IT's ACTUALLY RIDICULOUS;
the front glass is curved at the edges, the black is so black it's like a 2001 monolyth
and that chunky, angular design is SO GORGEOUS it actually looks MILES BETTER than an iphone 6
seriousely, reviews don't to the Nokia 3 justice ... you have to feel it in your hands ... that thing is AMAZING and it's $150, like WTF?
but i do believe Nokia fucked something up this year, their Nokia 6 and 7 are awesome
but the Nokia 8 , which is flagship level is dissapointing (and out of all the nokias of this year, it looks the ugliest (those 2 cameras in the same awkward vertical line as the flash just look BAD , very bad ... they should have put them horizontally, or something ... just ANYTHING but that ... ))
Nokia is the VERY BEST at budget level, but it can't compete with OnePlus onn Flagship levels
Seriousely, though, I can't reccommend Nokia phones enough they're INSANE prive/value ratio.

Many people may believe Nokia is dead, and while I myself drool over the newest and latest from Samsung, Apple, Huawei, OnePlus, Vivo and whatnot, I still get SUPER excited about Nokia, because they always have the coolest ideas. Do I get excited about dbrand? Nope.

AnonD-720827, 17 Jan 2018They do have a case coming up. It's called the grip or some... moreMaking one bumper, not case, does not make a company a case maker. They make and sell skins, and designed the grip as a bumper to leave the back open so people can see the skins they make.

dbrand's skins will be torn apart if touched by Nokia phones. Nokia don't need trash skins like dbrand. Oh excuse me... did I say dbrand? what kind of cough syrup is that? I thought I often see that brand in many trash bins.

dick, 17 Jan 2018agreed with dbrand making cases for nokia phones is a wast... morerespected you say... do you even know how much HMD Global is net worth? and how much Dbrand is worth... seriously though - one makes skins for phones, the other actually makes phones... I'm not a Nokia fanboy - but I surely cannot agree with that silly comment from Dbrand about Nokia... even in the business world, there are ways of going about this. Now if Google made such a comment about HMD, or Apple did then I can understand - still they would have rephrased the answer. But if a vinyl skin maker for phones bashes a phone maker - that is outright stupidity. It's called the Trump fever!

making cases for nokia phones is a waste of time and resource
nokia should just stop making shitty ugly mediocre phone and only then a respected brand like dbrand wont shit on them

Gotapoint, 17 Jan 2018Actually Dbrand does have a partial point here. This is ... moreI'm a photographer - hobbyist, but know the art of photography pretty well. I'm also a graphic designer working in the signage and print field, where I use images hi res enough to print large format - I'v been doing this for the last 10 -15 years (along with my photography experience over last 6 yrears) so my eye is trained well to see images per pixel level. I work with various graphic software from DXO photlab / filmpack to photoshop and capture one. And as much as I hate to say it (beacuse I'm quite fond of DXO Photolab) - DXO ratings on camera phones can be misleading - and many a times biased.
I just started using a Nokia 8 and I didn't expect so much from the camera after all the hype... but I can truly admit I'm shocked, in a good way - the camera is spectacular if you know how to use it. If you pay a bit of money and get Proshot or Camera FV-5 app, they can help get much better images. I've yet to try the filmic plus app - which I'm sure should work just fine with the hardware.
Sound quality via my cheap £20 JVC buds is impeccable. The only thing I cauld wish for is higher capacity on the battery - but I still finish my day with 20-30% left.
I think HMD is on the right path for time being - still testing water - building the right ship, which is fine,
As for Dbrand - well quite a blatant answer, and Drand will no longer be getting my business (strange a Canadian company has emplyees with the Trump fever !!!)

Actually Dbrand does have a partial point here.

This is not in regards to Nokia's heavy patent portfolio which is saving them.

However it's about the current phones HMD produces, and they are truly junk.

Why? Here's why: Nokia was KING back in the day until they sold themselves.

I loved my Nokia 3310, 5800 XpressMusic and 6300 and still respect Nokia but HMD needs to put better hardware into their devices just as GSMarena said: If you ask us, Asha failed because of its hardware, not the software. - that's the reference to the Asha Nokia phones but it's still a valid claim to the whole Nokia/HMD line of devices.

So to sum it all up, if HMD wields in the following; bigger/better batteries, smaller bezels, IR blasters, radio's, better cameras (pointing finger at Nokia 8 Carl Zeiss shameful DXOMARK score) and even some extras like a shutter button for the camera then let me proudly state:

                    NOKIA will be KING again.

I had never heard of dbrand before reading this - though I have heard of Nokia. I recently bought a Nokia 8, very happy with it.

I have no interest in Apple's overpriced tat or Samsungs bloatware laden junk. Both of which dbrand seem to like.

Congratulation to dbrand for the clever use of social media! Surely even they don't agree that new Nokias are bad (in any way), but the low market share vs. the iconic brand that still moves fans towards an emotional response is what makes this such a clever comment -- they loose very little sales, but get bucket-loads of free publicity due to this stunt (just see in the comments how many people didn't even know their brand or what they do, but now they know dbrand).
