Xiaomi Mi Max 3 leak confirms dual camera setup

The device is said to be powered by Snapdragon 635, feature a 6.99-inch display, and pack in a 5,500mAh battery.

LG superfan, 16 Jan 20187inch seriously? Will we ever see sd670?Maybe not, SD670 & SD640 is premium mid-range chipsets this year and I think it would be spotted on Mi Note 4. Mi Max, Redmi Note and regular Redmi will started on SD660 and SD630 this year.

    Why 3GB/64GB? Sounds like regression to me, bad move by Xiaomi. Also, the blacks and grays are horrible on the Max 2... Such poor calibration, not going to buy Xiaomi any time soon again. Watching videos in the dark is a nightmare.

        Qualcomm is behaving like Sammy, we had the SD630, then came 636, rumour suggests RN4 is being delayed due to the wait for a 632, now there's a 635 as well.
        Though there's no clue if any one of them is more powerful than 650/652.

Much better speakers, better camera, bigger battery and the cpu is cooler and more power-efficient. Bul less ram is total downgrade and can't have the advantages of a bit less powerful cpu which, however, doesn't throttle and doesn't waste battery life.

                  There is no such AP named Snapdragon 635. There is Snapdragon 636, though, released last October. If it is SD 636 really, then it would be first device that uses the SD636. The leak seems not so credible.

                  And I don't like the dual camera set up on Mi Max. The Mi Max series is not typical smartphone. It is used mostly as compact tablet for web browsing or youtube viewing. So dual camera is just waste of budget for such tablet-like device.

                    Rumour had it that the Max 2 might run on the 660.

                    Rumour has it that the Max 3 might run on the 635...

                          Hmm so you'll have to buy the more expensive version to have 4GB RAM or buy the 3GB version which will be a downgrade vs the Mi max 2. Shameless cheating.
