'windows phone' Reinventing The Android -iPhone Wheel. No innovation. Nothing new. My Samsung Galaxy S2 is better than that Trojan gift WP7. Nothing New To Offer Me.

Regarding the Iphone vs Android "free app" argument, WP7 has a Trial of every single app available. That means you can try any app for absolutely free without any obligation to buy. Some offer decreased functionality, some have a time limit, but most are quite fully featured. Neither Apple or Google can match this.
Aside from that, there seems to be a lot of negative claims about WP7 on here that are made by people who've never used a WP7 device. The UI is unbelievably good, much easier to use than the Iphone and Android devices. The last phone I had was a Nokia E71, so having never used an Iphone, Android, BB, or any other smartphone, I found that WP7 was definitely more user friendly. My current Samsung Omnia7 is as customizable as any Android device. I'm running the dev version of Mango on a non-dev phone, can write to the registry, and still have full access to the Marketplace. Microsoft doesn't seem to mind :)

hahaha, 24 Jul 2011Because they know that no one will buy paid application in ... moreLol,true, that's why Android rocks! ;). Free apps doesn't mean it's crap, but they just give you more options, if you like the free version go ahead and buy the paid version with more features, and if you don't like it you can uninstall it without feeling guilty or cheated. I like to try various free apps and if I find them useful for me or others may find them useful I'll give them good scores and reviews, try that with paid apps :)

AnonD-1131, 25 Jul 2011You obviously haven't touched an iPhone. Whatever free app... morethere is different between open Source and piracy Apple try to deny the Cydia and the developers for so long but eventually they kneel down and take bow and most of the improvements made in the iOS are taken from the Cydia developers and now they start taken ideas from Android it's not shame to learn from the others but it's shame to deny something very obvious, and Yes i'm owner of iPhones and iPad and what i hate the most is the limitation even with paid apps any Android device will take them down with the Original Installed Apps
it's really funny to see person goes by name NOKIA Rules defending Apple, what happen? not happy with NOKIA anymore!!!

i really don't get this limited support for marketplace. can't MS just open it up to the other countries and limit the accessibility to free apps for the meantime as what google did with android?

I tried, its not working.
It still says that the service is not available for my country/region.
And even if it starts working, this is not a good idea to keep the current customers waiting for something that is what a user should get since the time he/she buys the phone.
