(but I live in Israel. which is considered as Europe in term of markets. but Asia geographically) ... Exynos is exponentially better than Snapdragon. Qualcomm got lazy.... I mean. I do love their products (I've built a PDA of my own with an SD845, yes. I've bought the motherboard. Wow. amazing power! it's a great preformer. but not the best.)
I sure hope Qualcomm will wake up from their slumber and get shit done and impress us the consumers!
      (key specs of my PDA:
      Name: Kiya-touch T1
      Body:
      Height: 132.9mm
Width: 64.9mm (no side bezels AT ALL)
      Thickness: 8.0mm
      Weight: 131grams
      Display: 4.7inch (1920x1080, 16:9, 470 PPI, pentile Amoled)
      protection: GG5.
OS: Pure Android. Managed to get a rom of 8.0 free.
Body: kind of like iPhone 8 style. with considerably small bezels. but not bezelless.
Chipset: Qualcomm Snapdragon 845. (I'd rather not reveal actual clock speeds. I clocked mine: Kryo 385 gold at 2.5 GHz and the silver keep at 1.9 GHz)
RAM: 4 GB (3998 MB Installed. and I made sure Android will utilize all of them)
Storage: 64 GB, with MicroSD support up to 2 TB
Cameras: 12 MP Rear(Same one used on S8. aperature shrunk to F1.8)
8 MP front. (same one S8)
Video Capabilities: 4k60fps/ and below. including SSM. (Superslow motion)
FPS on back. (design looks like a mini S9)
flat screen forgot to mention! with 3.5mm jack. with USB C 3.1
Battery placed is 3180mAh. (NON removable. couldn't find a solution for it. T_T)
and it costed me about 382$ to build this babe. it's not a GSM device I have to remind!)
(And for those who need to know my device's benchmark:
      Antutu: 208,522 points
      Geekbench:
      Single core: 2720points
      Multicore: 9018points
      Compute: 7299points
      Battery END: 89h)

They do preform better (sometimes the gap is 10% better compared to Snapdragon).

Avro Deep, 17 Jan 2018India has become a dumping ground for mediatek processors f... moreThat's true most Indians buy smartphone based on ram and battery not knowing about optimisation ,endurance, durability

India has become a dumping ground for mediatek processors for Chinese OEMS & exynos processors for Samsung they charge the same that Europeans and Americans would pay for Snapdragon devices. Mediatek processors/devices have plenty of Issues and are rarely updated with newer software version and that is anti consumer but unlike the US and Europe consumer rights are not protected in India the Chinese will continue to make loads of money selling trash in India
