Mr, 17 Jan 2018If you use VR then ppi is important. If it is 600+ (800+ for pentile) I agree, Samsung's PPI is almost of equally low fidelity as Mate Pro's for VR (~500 PPI, pentile, is incredibly bad).
So yeah, Samsung's resolution is a missed opportunity. Not good enough for VR, but too good for everyday use (not much of a difference over 1080p) ... a sad, sad resolution for phones (QHD and QHD+)

Too expensive for what (little) it gives you. Mate Pro gives you more for less (better battery, camera, SoC - worse PPI but nobody cares when it is already so high)

In my country 128 GB duos Note 8 from overseas market being sold close to $1000 but Samsung Pay won't work
